A Community Built Around Better Beekeeping

We are a community united by a passion for honeybees and beekeeping.

The Davidson County Beekeepers Association brings together individuals of all experience levels—from curious beginners to seasoned beekeepers—who share a common goal: to support and protect the vital role honeybees play in our environment and our lives.

At the heart of our mission is a commitment to education. We strive to inform and engage our local community about the importance of honeybees and pollinators, while promoting responsible beekeeping practices that prioritize the health and well-being of the hive. Through meetings, workshops, and shared experiences, we create opportunities for continuous learning and growth.

We believe that beekeeping is both an art and a responsibility. By fostering collaboration and encouraging the exchange of knowledge, we help preserve beekeeping traditions while adapting to new challenges and discoveries. Our members support one another, share insights, and work together to strengthen the beekeeping community across Davidson County.

Just as importantly, we are passionate about inspiring the next generation. We actively encourage youth participation and aim to spark curiosity, respect for nature, and a lifelong appreciation for beekeeping.

Above all, we celebrate the joy that beekeeping brings—the connection to nature, the sense of stewardship, and the reward of nurturing healthy, thriving colonies. We are proud to share that joy with others and to grow a community rooted in learning, respect, and care for honeybees.

To promote healthy honey bees, educate current and future beekeepers, and foster a strong community throughout Davidson County.

The Davidson County Beekeepers Association is committed to educating our community, promoting practices that put honeybee health first, and preserving the art of beekeeping through shared learning.

We strive to inspire others—especially youth—to discover the joy and importance of beekeeping for years to come.
